Description

Italian rodingite is world renowned for the quality of minerals they have provided to collectors. This specimen is a rich, 3D floater miniature, fully covered with dozens of garnet 'berries' of dark red color and with the classic crystal habitus for the area. The largest crystal protrudes out of the matrix and gives a spectacular esthetic to the entire group.
The hessonite is dark red, often transparent, very lustrous and main crystals are quite well on relief.

An excellent little jewel, from the former collection Lehmann (CH).
