Size Range:
Cabinet (10-18 cm)
Size:
11.1 × 0.9 × 0.5 cm
Weight:
10.00gr
Description

Intriguing specimen composed of two elongated aegirine crystals 'glued' on each other at one tip with an evident dislocation (circa 20 degrees rotation), giving a very special effect to the specimen. Both visible terminations are complete, and in one stance (bottom termination) it appears to have not freely grown (i.e. iron oxides pocket?).
Excellent lustre, the longer crystal nicely displays the character of two parallel crystals cemented together for its longest extent, which culminates into a parallel termination. Growth patterns are evident on the broader extent of the specimen too.
With minimal peripheral bruising, this specimen represents excellent display material, as it has a size rarely spotted on the market.

Acquired a few years ago, this is an excellent and sizeable specimen from this classic locality.
