Description

Rich specimen dozens of elongated brown hubeite crystals, which nicely contrast with the underlying white calcite and quartz.

Hubeite dusts the specimen with several dozens of crystals, and on the side there is a large (over 2 cm!) chalcopyrite crystal with microcrystalline coating on its main face. Quite lustrous and fresh, the chalcopyrite has a couple of contacts on its peripheral tips.

Sizeable miniature showing a good overview of the Daye paragenesis. Recently acquired from an Italian collector.
