Miniature (4.5-7 cm)
Size:
4.8 × 6.8 × 4.4 cm

399.00gr
Description

Significant chunky galena specimen showing an iron oxide filled area which, upon treatment, revealed a well formed hexagonal group of white cerussite with medium to good lustre. Cerussite is almost complete, and best observed at 10x magnification. Galena is quite solid, with medium lustre.

Galena specimens from Lavrion are far from common, and so are good cerussite. This combo is quite good for the classic Greek locality.

In my personal collection since several years, now seeking a new home.
