Description

Complex aggregate of at least two dozens of purple fluorite cubes intimately interconnected to form a solid plate. Lavrion fluorite displays a rather rough surface, with medium transparency, and this is a very rich example of it. As an addition to the specimen, most cubes are surrounded by a quartz epimorph, providing a great contrast and a special feature. The specimen has been mildly treated to remove iron oxides.

Rich, in good conditions, with minor peripheral contacts. Acquired 15+ years ago from an old Greek miner - now passed away.
