Description

At the Denver show I was lucky enough to acquire a limited batch of specimens from the legendary - yet defunct - Foote Mine.
The specimen herewith listed is a lovely piece featuring two isolated spherical aggregates of creamy yellow fairfieldite. The fairfieldite spheroids are quite sizeable for the specie.
A very rich specimen for both the specie and the locality, and quite aesthetic too. In excellent condition, it comes in its own Perky box. The renowned locality was described in Rocks&Minerals 91, 3 (2016).
