Small cabinet (7-10 cm)
Size:

Largest Crystal:
0.15cm
Description

Deep orange norbergite lumps embedded in white calcite matrix. One little vug display two very lustrous faces, possibly not cleavages, of a dark orange norbergite crystal. Given the color contrast, this rare specimen is quite aesthetic despite the systematic significance. To add to the geological signature of the matrix, a few platy metallic pyrrhotite (?) crystals are scattered throughout the calcite.
It comes with an ex Robert Trimingham label, dated back to 1977.
