Description

Rare powellite from Crodo, Italy. A quartzite bit hosts a cavity fully lined with microscopic, rounded creamy crystals of powellite. Crystals are in very good condition, and they are best admired at 10x magnification.
Rich and in good conditions, quite representative for the specie and locality, rather rare to find on the market. I acquired it several years ago from a local collector.

It was collected in 2003, and the exact date is reported on the original label pasted on its plastic box.
