Description

Rich miniature featuring a group of lazulite crystals on a carpet of brown siderite rhombs. Lazulite crystals are sharp, deep blue and with glass lustre. The two main crystals appear twinned, although I cannot confirm whether this is the case indeed. Siderite crystals range from yellow to brown, are partially transparent and display glass lustre. Rare hyalin quartz crystals nicely contrast with the other two species. On the back of the specimen, green sprays of gormanite nicely contrast with the surrounding iron stains, which I have not removed to preserve the geological signature.

Elegant, contrastful and overall in good conditions, provided some throughout contacts and broken crystals. Found at the end of the 90s.
