Description

Rich vuggy specimen featuring a 'chain' of transparent white to yellow fluorite cubes. The 'chain' is grown on a thin rock crust, which acted as nucleation surface. Some growth patterns are also visible on the fluorite crystals, which display a good lustre. On one side of the specimen, a beautiful double terminated yellow transparent baryte crystal of up to 1.2 cm nicely lays in a vug.
A very good specimen, with the backside sawn to remove the excess matrix and achieve the best possible display. From this well renowned Sardinian mine, self collected in 2005.
