Description

Rich drusy of pale green hexagonal urchins populating massive quartz matrix. Crystals display the classic - for the locality - medium lustre. Very elegant.
One of the most sought-after pyromorphite from the Italian Alps, specimens from Cinquevalli are very hard to get ahold of. The mine is very dangerous to access and good pyromorphite groups are rare to spot in general at mineral shows. This specimen is very rich and well preserved, and it was in my mineral collection since the early 2000s. It is the best I have ever had.
