Description

Rich specimen featuring white to transparent crystals of apatite (labelled fluorapatite). Apatite appears both as individual double terminated crystals and complex clusters. It is very lustrous and nicely contrasts with the underlying brown vesuvianite. Associated, some green thick diopside crystals, typical for this skarn paragenesis.

In very good conditions, best appreciated under 10x magnification. From the former Bruno Cerato collection and stock.
