Description

Extremely rich gypsum var. selenite cabinet from Hilarion mine. Very long needles, white to water clear, are delicately arranged on top of botroidal creamy smithsonite. Good lustre for most gypsum crystals, they beautifully contrast with the smithsonite while making frequent fans. Most gypsum are terminated, and some display a fishtail twin.

A thin matrix specimen, although the gossan is quite resistant. An oldtimer, certainly prior to 80s find, now very difficult to find in this size and quality.
