Over two dozens complex, perfectly transparent apatite crystals cover this thin metamorphic rock slice. Overall very lustrous, the crystals are rather complex and covered in numerous faces, sometimes so lustrous and transparent that it makes it hard to photograph. Associated, a number of creamy pericline and adularia crystals of good quality.
In excellent conditions and especially rich for the Swiss Alps. Former B. Florin collection (Switzerland).

B. Florin was a knowledgeable Swiss collector. He was specialised in Swiss localities, but specialized in choice specimens, odd quartz shapes and inclusions.
As his collection was mostly assembled between the 50s and the 70s - when the Swiss road system was significantly implemented - he has access to specimens whose localities are now largely either defunct or restricted.
One key feature of his collection was that, with only a few exceptions, his specimens were glued on custom made wooden bases, which he would also paint one by one. All specimens in his collections were balanced aesthetically, as they would display best.
