Description

Showy thumbnail specimen featuring a dark red almandine crystal lying on pale pegmatite matrix. The garnet shows an excellent mirror lustre, and when illuminated with strong light it displays some transparent sectors. 

A nice specimen from this classic Alpine locality. In great conditions, dated back to the 80s.
