Description

A very rich group of elongated eosphorite crystals covering the typical pegmatite matrix. Among them, half a dozen dull green zanazziite spheroids (a few mm in diameter) occur throughout the specimen. Eosphorite crystals are brown, lustrous and with transparent terminations.
The specimen is in excellent conditions and significantly large for both species. It is dated back to the 70s, a prolific time for these specimens on the market. Also, Ilha pegmatite is the type locality of zanazziite.

On a side, personal note, I am very attached to this paragenesis. In the mineral text I had purchased when I first started getting into the hobby, this paragenesis was depicted as an example of rare minerals around the world. Growing up, I found out that this was indeed the case!
