Description

Elegant ore specimen featuring an open vein hosting a couple tetrahedrite crystals. The main crystal displays a perfect twinning, while the secondary ones appear to be single tetrahedrons. The vein is lined with secondary yellow-green crusts, mostly given by undetermined oxides.
Original informations coming with the label report it from 'Mina San Vicente, 1987'. Upon a quick search, it would appear that this is the name usually given to most specimens coming from the area, which however has a number of mines. I kept it with the original locality as I was not able to narrow it down.

A nice little sulfosalt from Bolivia!
