Description

Single deep green crystal of vivianite from this classic Bolivian locality. Some bits of yellowish, powdery matrix attached to it. The specimen appears to be very stable: no powder in the box after 10+ years of storage, still deep green color and minimal exfoliation, plus a bit of core transparency when backlit. Two sides of the crystal seem to be cleavage surfaces.

In great condition. It comes from the late Bruno Cerato stock, a prominent Italian collector and dealer.
