Description

A very large partial crystal of witherite from the famous Nentsberry Haggs mine. A partial hexagonal section is visible on one side of the specimen, while the fibrous crystal structure is evident throughout the specimen. The internal sectors of the specimen are pale yellow, with an external white powdery layer which is typical for the crystals from this locality.
Sizeable sample of this very rare and quite sought-after mineral, more and more scarce nowadays.
