Description

A quartzitic matrix, rich in cavities, hosts masses and crystals (dozens!) of dark red pyrargyrite. The dimension of the bigger pyrargyrite aggregate is 2.4 x 1.5 cm, with prismatic crystals up to 2.5 mm. Here and there, small quartz and pyrite, and other minerals.

A very old sample, out of the collection of the late Bruno Cerato, a well known Italian collector of sulphides.
