Description

A neat specimen of Armenian rutile on a thin but solid matrix, which is given by brown, corroded feldspars.

The crystals are jet black with red flames, with mirror lustre. They are all twinned.
Provided one capillar thin crack in the main crystal - typical for those rutiles - the specimen is in excellent conditions.
Nowadays this material had become extremely scarse.
