Description

Salvatore Pinna is a geological prospector who worked at Berg Aukas in the 70s.

This descloizite comes from his collection and was found during a prospection of the lower stopes of the mine.

Blocky descloizite crystals (up to 9.5 mm) sit on the matrix. The colour is black with a red hint. Here and there, small white, translucent dolomite rhomboedra (1 mm on edge) add a beautiful contrast.

Some peripheral damage do not detract the overall aesthetics. A good one, really!
