Description

A rare colorless gem grossular garnet crystals to 4mm from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The colorless garnets are among the rarest. The crystals are very glassy, transparent, clear, gem quality with a superb luster. The crystals have a sharp crystallization. Cool garnet from this closed mine. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4.  In good condition – some contacts. On acrylic base.
