Description

A sculptural specimen of marcasite, baryte and chalcopyrite from Bou Nahas Mine, Morocco. It displays metallic marcasite crystals with a strong luster. They grow with a yellow chalcopyrite forming a neat arch. Baryte forms the base. Some marcasite crystals have a cool iridescence in blue and green. The baryte crystals are colorless, sharp rhombohedral crystals with a strong glassy luster. They are transparent and vitreous. It shows attractively all over. In very good condition – some small contacts.
