Description

A pleasing specimen of red, flattened, tabular hexagonal crystals of vanadinite beautifully growing on white baryte rosettes from the famous Mibladen Mining District, Morocco. The vanadinite crystals have an intense dark-red to red color and a strong luster. The crystals are sharp and well isolated. The piece is fresh and sparkling. Vanadinites contrast strongly on the white base. It displays attractively all over 360 degree. For references the issue of The Mineralogical Record - Vol. 44, No. 3 May - June 2013. In very good condition – some small contacts. On acrylic base.
