Description

A marvelous specimen of colorful coquimbite with romerite and halotrichite from an amazing find in Monte Arsiccio Mine, Tuscany, Italy. The piece comes from an unique recent find of the “Great Sulphates Geode” in December 2018. It displays coquimbite crystals with a magnificent and rich purple color. They are translucent to transparent with a good luster. Brown-red romerite crystal is seen too. Some hairy white halotrichite needles grow at the left side. In order to preserve the specimen for a long time it must be stored in a box, isolated from the humidity changes. Some contacts and natural imperfections.

Excellent!
