Description

Outstanding large, colorful, rich specimen of crystallized francevillite and curienite on matrix from the famous Mounana uranium mine in Gabon, the type locality for these rare and sought-after uranium minerals. A beautiful and rich example of this very rare material. Measures ~100,000 CPM on my Ludlum Model 3 counter with the 44-9 probe. Originally valued at $1000 in my inventory. Rare!
