Very nice and rich specimen of rarely seen in specimens Cerianite-(Ce) with Bastnäsite-(Ce) as mixed, brown masses in matrix with minor dark purple fluorite from classic locality in Mountain Pass area (California, USA). Cerianite-(Ce) is Ce analogue of uraninite and thorianite and the most simple Ce mineral known. Also, one of three currently recognized minerals with tetravalent cerium! Analyzed!
