Description

A lustrous and saturated yellow powellite cluster sits proudly on a background of tabular apophyllite that itself is included by dendritic hematite making for a perfect backdrop. It's very shiny, aestetic piece. The powellite does have a small contact at the back but it is not visble from the main display angle at all. We have not seen many powellites from Yeola lately and this small find of early 2019 is a nice surprise. It was a large vug of apophyllite and stilbite with a small area yielding very limited powellite.
