Description

Sharp roweite miniature with johnbaumite on the disctinctive matrix consisting of a mix green andradite and white johnbaumite. Small crystals of andradite are present on the specimen. There are some tiny un-identified colourless crystals sprinkled on in roweite - they could be cuspidine. A very well presented miniature that sits up nicely for display and can be viewed from all sides. The johnbaumite sits underneath the roweite and is partially visible.
From the 2017 find that re-defined the standard for olshanskyite. Read all about this mine and it's minerals in Lapis magazine.
