Description

Rather exceptional crystals of the rare hydrous (Mn, Mg)-silicate Caryopilite from the N’Chwaning Mine. The attractive sub-mm bladed crystals are chocolate-brown, translucent, and some have very good luster, almost hinting at gemminess. The crystals are perched on botyroidal leucophoenicite and associated withsparkly, deep pink and gemmy rhodochrosites that compose most of the specimen
