Description

Collected in 1987, this specimen is the top of a sulphide statalctite from the now defunct Cadgebut Mine in Western Australia.

At the pinnacle we have a cluster of gemmy light yellow/orange calcite crystals. The main body of the stalactite is a mixture of well formed cuboctrahedral galena crystals, druzy's of tan coloured "secondary" sphalerite and marcasite crystals. An attractive old time and stable appearing specimen.
