Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Boddington, Boddington Shire, Western Australia, Australia
Size Range:
Miniature (4.5-7 cm)
Size:
5.7 × 5 × 4.9 cm
Description

Arguably the very best miniature of cuprite that was recovered from the now defunct Boddington Gold Mine. This specimen was collected in 1984.

It is an outstanding group of cuboctahedral cuprite crystals that has formed over a branching native copper specimen, freestanding, with very good lustre and a rich dark red colour. it is certainly the very best i have seen from this deposit in any size range.
