Description

Two sharp dark reddish brown twinned rutile crystals on/in off white radiating sprays of pyrophyllite. Old time californian classic.

Specimen came from William C Oke, the great micromounter and curator of minerals at Caltech, who passed away in 1964. His bibliography in brief is available on www.minrec.org.
