Description

This small isolated quarry on the a rugged area of the Victorian coastline has produced some of the worlds finest andesine crystals. Andesine is now recognised as a variety of albite that does not detract at all from the beauty and remarkable size of these crystals.  The single doubly terminated crystal at 3.0 cm is quite remarkable and sits beautifully on 2 overlapping sprays of andesine and the associated black ilmenite blades
