Description

A complex gold crystal cluster displaying intricate hopper growth from the famous but remote mines in the jungle of New Guinea. Crystal forms to be seen on this specimen include hopper, octahedrons and spinal twins, when combined form a fabulous thumbnalil specimen.

Acquired in 1993, the specimen was originally purchased as being from the OK Tedi Deposit on Mount Fubilan in New Guinea, which was an attempt to hide the true occurence of the crystals. Subsequent inquiries revealed the true origin of this specimen.
