Description

A very old native copper on quartz from Michigan.

The largest single copper dodechedron is approximately 0.8cm across and is isolated on the matrix with a number of other smaller crystals on a neat druzy quartz matrix.

This specimen was originally purchased from a Charles Nelson by the Chicago Natural History Museum and was later sold by The Arkenstone when they were still based in California.
