Description

A cavity in massive cuprite is lined with aurichalcite on to which a number of sharp cuprite crystals, a depression at one end of the specimen hosts a number of pale wine yellow marshite crystals displaying typical ttetrahedral shaped crystals with cubic modifications. This is an old time Broken Hill specimen of this extremely rare copper iodide species which forms a solid solution series with miersite
