Description

A series of cavities in sandstone gossan is lined with cuprian smithsonite crystals that have a soft yellowish green colour. Over the smithsonite, bright blue sprays of linarite have grown along with white cerussite crystals many displaying good arrow head form.

Numerous areas of crystalline cuprite can be seen in the matrix and is the most likely source for the copper in the secondary minerals on this specimen.
