Description

An extremely rich specimen of Miersite with malchite coated cuprite from the Proprietary mine at Broken Hill.

This is an oldtime specimen, originally acquired from Chris Johnston in the early 1980's.

The miersite form well defined crystals and also crystalline masses over a brown gossan. Numerous cuprite octahedrl are scattered over the specimen and have a velvety coating of malachite
