Description

An old time silver and copper half breed from the British Mine at Broken Hill. The British Mine was also known as block 15 and worked the British Shear Zone.

This specimen consists of inergrown native silver and copper crystals and half breeds in a white kaolin matrix rich in small bright orange spessartine crystals.

A red arrow is affixed to the specimen highlighting an area that purportedly  has native gold, whilst a gold coloured mineral is visible under magnification it has never been tested.
