Description

Collected in the winter of 1987, this wonderful specimen comprises a twinned titanite / sphene crystal with a pleasant olive to yellow colour and high lustre, nestled amongst logs of epidote.

Most of the larger epidote crystals are terminated on a clean white bed of albite crystals. At the opposition end of the specimen to the titanite is a squat blocky epidote with a morphology quite different to the other epidote.
