Description

A red coat colourst the surface of this sphalerite specimen. It is hard to describe and not appreciated by most collectors unfamiliar with sphalerite from Broken Hill. This specimen consists and two crystal/crystalline sections of sphalerite. Whilst sphalerite is a major ore at Broken Hill, sphalerite crystals are extremely rare.
