Description

 A large 3 cm, blocky lazurite crystal with great deep blue colour on a matrix of white marble. This large crystals has some hoppered growth.

Lazurite is the blue component of the gemstone; Lapis Lazuli, which is a Lazurite-Calcite-Pyrite rock. Lazurite is a sulfide rich variety of  hauyne and should not be regarded as a separate species
