Description

Sternbergite is a rare Ag-Fe sulfosalt and is the dimorph of argentopyrite. Eye-visible specimens are rare from anywhere. Lustrous, reddish-gray, metallic prisms  clustered in an open vug at the end of a vein that appears to be nearly solid reddish-gray metallic sterbergite in the calcite and limestone matrix.
