Description

These are the largest torbernite crystals I ever collected from Lake Boga, on my first collecting trip to the quarry. This specimen was collected in 1982, well before the corner was uncovered in the quarry where so many rare species were found. The neon green crystals were lining cavities in the granite, I was so excited I cleaned all the specimens I collected in the ultrasonic as soon as I got home, this on and two smaller matrix specimens survived.  The bottom of the ultrasonis was green. A mistake I never made again with torbernites
