Description

What a combination! There is a lot going on here. We have the green cuprian smithsonite with blue aurichaclite (also possibly rosasite too) and dozens of little clusters of hemimorphite crystals. The white material on top is calcite. The green malachite is a pseudomorph after azurite. While looking at my close-ups I also discovered a yellow mineral, it is too small for me to jump to any conclusions but this is interesting and adds to the association. The yellow mineral appears almost as dots in my macro lens close-ups. The rest of the identified minerals though are more than enough to make it a superb combination specimen that is also beautiful and colorful.
