Description

Nice and unusual smithsonite specimen from Lavrion. The piece is an encrustation pseudomorph after crystals of gypsum. The smithsonite was deposited on prismatic crystals of gypsum that were naturally dissolved, leaving mostly a cast of smithsonite.
