Description

Firstly, this is a superb Greek azurite. Such a quality has only been found once and all the specimens from this find are highly sought after by collectors for their beauty and quality. This is an excellent example with fan-shaped, gemmy and highly lustrous crystals/groups of azurite. The piece is not just an azurite though. It is a unique combination/paragenesis of azurite with agardite! The agardite comes in pale yellowish-green color all around the matrix.
