Description

Epidotes from this unusual skarn zone are usually tiny, 1-2 mm long. This piece hosts a gemmy monster for the locality eith excellent luster. The piece is composed of a bed of gemmy, light green epidotes that hosts excellent crystals of black magnetite. The big epidote on one side pops up and adds significantly to the specimen. The other side though hosts a fine, sharp, glossy, dark-brown crystal of andradite and as a bonus, a green crystal of lustrous and gemmy diopside is right underneath the andradite. What a beautiful combo specimen!
